Just a quick post about the latest cake I did. A very simple winter wedding cake with rose bouquet on top.

Camera Cake
Last week was my husband’s birthday. And since I don’t have enough money to get him new fancy camera, so all I can do for him is making him a camera. Cake 
The body made from red velvet with cream cheese filling and chocolate frosting. The lens made from rice krispies treats without marshmallows.
Pretty happy about this, since this is my first fancy 3D cake, which not my style. But I guess for special people I can do something different

I absolutely agree with this article (link below).
If you want it to be special, be prepared with the cost. If you are on a budget, then be humble with your request.
I appreciated those who came to me, and I often lowered my price without them knowing, most esp. when I like the person, or I considered as a friend.
Toppers
Few weeks ago I finally got my peony cutters. I’ve been wanting to make this flower forever, so I was really happy and excited. Apparently it’s not so difficult to make. A bit time consuming but very fun to make.
I also made carnation (it’s a flower that represent people born in January, that’s me!) I love love making this flower, and love the result too. Planning to make more just for decoration. They’re sooooo easy to make yet so pretty.
Another new topper is figurines. This is my very first figurine, just so you know. I’ve been making flowers for a while now. But never have courage to make figurines. So, this is it. What do you think?
